You’d obviously think that Ranveer Singh would be the first choice for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Padmavati. According to a report by DNA, the filmmaker turned to Hrithik Roshan for the same part, after a tiff with Ranveer.
Turns out, Sanjay is miffed with Ranveer, primarily because the actor asked him for a narration. Sanjay has been responsible for a major portion of Ranveer’s success and as per the director, Ranveer should not be asking him for a narration.
Reportedly, Sanjay approached Shah Rukh Khan, who could not devote 200 days to the film and has now given a narration to Hrithik. While nothing has been confirmed, a Hrithik-Deepika Padukone pairing would be refreshing. But we also secretly hope Ranveer gets the part, since we can never get enough of DeepVeer. Also, with Jodha Akbar and Mohenjo Daro, Hrithik has had his fair share of historical movies. Take the hint, Hrithik!
