While scouring through the Bollywood discussion boards on Quora, we came across this information about Akshay Kumar which is not widely known. Apparently, the superstar was once looted by dacoits from Chambal! Quora user Mohit Rewtani, who refers to himself as an Akshay Kumar fan, wrote about this rather unfortunate event in Akshay’s life –
Before being an actor, Akshay used to have many small jobs. One of them was selling kundan jewelry from Delhi to Mumbai. Once, while travelling between the two cities, his train was robbed by Chambal dacoits. Just before boarding, Akshay had bought himself some new clothes but soon the dacoits captured his bogey and looted everything that belonged to the passengers. Apparently, Akshay was crying as well as laughing when he was going through this ordeal and to avoid any problem, he pretended to be asleep after this got over.
