Just about two months on the show and buzz is that Vrushika Mehta, who plays the role of Ishaana on Ishqbaaaz, is all set to exit the serial. According to an exclusive report in Tellychakkar, Vrushika’s role did not shape up as expected. A source close to the website revealed that the actress would not be seen on the show anymore and that there’s nothing personal, it was only a creative call.

Vrushika said:

I will not be seen in the show. I have been informed about it. It’s not the end of the world. I take it stride and hope to grab something new soon.
