Deepika Padukone Might Be Seen Opposite This Debutant Very Soon

According to Rajeev Masand‘s column in Open magazine, Deepika Padukone may be paired opposite Sonam Kapoor‘s younger brother, Harshvardhan Kapoor in a revenge thriller. The young actor has managed to impress the industrywallahs even before his debut vehicle, Mirzya hits the theatres.

Sriram Raghavan (of Badlapur fame) is in talks with the young Kapoor for a possible project together. Reportedly, Deepika is also in conversation with the director about a ‘quickie’ project that they might wrap up in three months flat. The report also says this could be some sort of a female protagonist version of Badlapur and Harshvardhan will take the negative role similar to what Nawazuddin Siddiqui played.

It is interesting to note that not too long ago, buzz was that Sonam and Deepika are not exactly on friendly terms after the former made a few digs at her on a popular chat show. The cold war may be a thing of past as recently, Deepika was all praise for Sonam’s younger brother .

In agreement with film critic Rajeev Masand’s appreciation for Harshvardhan, Deepika tweeted:

Harshvardhan will likely wrap Vikramaditya Motwane’s vigilante movie Bhavesh Joshi before Raghavan’s film goes on the floors.
