It takes quite a lot of studying and practicing to nail any art form. And I must say that Elton Fernandez creates magic every time he does makeup! Elton, who is the official spokesperson and makeup artist for Maybelline India created some of the most magnificent looks for some of the shows at Amazon India Fashion Week this year. For literally every show he has managed to create looks that complemented the designer clothes keeping their aesthetic in mind.
Take a look at some of the looks we loved:
For Akaaro
He created an abstract silver leafing effect around the eyes and eyebrows, accentuating one feature to the maximum. This effect was done with the use of fingers and no brushes for that uneven look.
For Abraham & Thakore
He created a dark grungy look with metallic hues and shades of black from one corner to another in a parallel block around the eyes.
For Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna
He created a rustic glam look to match the bling aesthetic portrayed in their collection. Glossy eyes silver lips with rhinestones on it and bold natural look for the brows added that much-needed oomph to their collection this season.
For JJ Valaya & Alpana Neeraj
He created a tribal feel amalgamated with royalty for the finale. Contoured faces along with shimmery lips, kohl eyes and black dots around the eyes added the finished touched to this “Guru-Shisya” collaborated show.
