Alia Bhatt gave an interview to Mumbai Mirror where she spoke at length about her relationships, Sidharth Malhotra and moving out of her family home. When asked about Dear Zindagi and the three men she’s reportedly romancing in the movie. She was quick to point out that she doesn’t necessarily fall in love with all of them in the film. The men do influence her though. Speaking about similar experiences in her personal life, Alia revealed she fell in love for the first time in 8th grade –
I dated him for two years. I was planning babies in my head and all of that. He was a little possessive and I learnt not to let anybody tell me what to do.
She then spoke about how she truly fell in love when she was 16 and was heartbroken when the relationship ended. When asked about her alleged break-up with Sidharth Malhotra, Alia said –
When were we dating to have broken up? Sid is still a part of my life and I do talk to him.
