John Abraham is currently promoting his upcoming film, Force 2, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin. During one such promotional run, John spoke to Mid-day about his personal life and addressed rumours of his marriage with Priya Runchal falling apart, to set the record straight. He said:
Any relationship teaches you a lot about your strengths as well as drawbacks, and Priya has bought a lot of stability to my life. My relationship with her has made me a far more mature person.
He also praised his wife’s strength with numbers and how she contributes to his life with her expertise:
Priya is fantastic. She has made a huge difference in the way we approach numbers and our business. She has studied in the best universities of the world and worked with some of the finest financial companies. We made Force 2 within the budget we had set from the start. As a producer, I know that through the digital, satellite, overseas and music rights, I have recovered more than the cost of production. Now, I just have to recover the P&A costs and I am confident that will done on day one itself.
Now that’s a power couple!
