Aamir Khan and Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari will be going to Balali, a village near Haryana, to attend Geeta Phogat‘s wedding. Deepa is wrestler Mahavir Pogat‘s daughter, and Aamir – as you know by now – plays him in Dangal. Mahavir had trained his daughters for wrestling and that’s the story Aamir will be narrating. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh are playing his on-screen daughters.
Mahavir told a tabloid, “I spoke to Aamir Ji on Wednesday and he said he will attend the wedding along with director Nitesh Tiwari. The sangeet and mehendi is on November 19th.” Geeta had won the first ever Gold medal in Women’s wrestling at the 2010 Commonwealth Games is getting married to Pawan Kumar, who is also a wrestler and who won a Bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
