Preity Zinta’s cousin, Nitin Chauhan reportedly committed suicide in Shimla on Friday morning by shooting himself with a pistol in his car. According to a report in HT, police recovered two suicide notes, of four pages each, from his car and home.
He had blamed his wife and in-laws for his suicide. In both the notes, Nitin accused his in-laws of harassing him by filing false cases and not allowing him to meet his son. The victim had separated from his wife a couple of years ago and the case regarding their legal separation was pending in the court. Incidentally, the hearing of the case was on the day he shot himself.
