So I was organizing my thousands of pictures (no exaggeration) and I came across some fun ones from November last year. Yes, another Indigo brunch (where some fun face painting was going on courtesy Deepika Roy on buddies Rahul Akerkar and Anish Trivedi) followed by a paint party at Amitabh & Akanksha (the-most-beautiful-girl-in-the-world) Nanda’s house, much to their son Satya’s delight! I also heard an eerie story about how the occasional finger falls from the sky into their garden because they are situated next to the Parsi “Tower of Silence” in Walkeshwar, Mumbai. Eeks.) Kadambari was a good sport about letting her legs be used as an artist’s canvas along with Narendra Kumar and Nirja Shah who were in their usual good spirits. (I like people like that.)
Incidentally, Amitabh writes an extremely clever blog aptly titled www.whattothink.org (keeping indian media honest – since way before 2008) which features a variety of tirades against “the rising vapidity of our society – portrayed in the pop culture barometer of its advertising and mass communication” and encourages submissions from readers to illtellyou@whattothink.org. Love it.
