Sorry for being MIA folks I had a pretty late night and have been struggling through my day. 🙂 Like I said I hit up the GQ bar night at Olive, Mahalaxmi Mumbai (before Oba and Polly Esther’s last night, yes I know serves me right, right?) which has become something of a social hub, to see and be seen at! The evening saw an eclectic mix of the city’s posh peeps in attendance and by midnight the place was PACKED. Inside everyone was bopping to the tunes of DJ Ranjeet (Psst didjya know? He’s apparently Aishwariya Rai’s ex from her Miss World pageant days!) accompanied by the live percussionist Jonkey.
Spotted: Reshma Bombaywalla, Farrokh Chothia, A.D. Singh (looking supremely happy and hugging just about everyone), Narendra Kumar Ahmed (in a dashing ribbed shirt and canary yellow & parrot green sneakers!), Queenie Dhody, Farhad Taraporewalla, Nalanda Bhandari, soap-stress Karishma Tanna, Ameet Kaur, Kadambari Lakhani, Pallavi Kulkarni, Ashish Raheja, Tarana Raja Kapoor, Amrit Maghera, Nikhil Chib, Rajiv Samant, Soumit Patel, Fashion Editor, GQ’s Arjun Bhasin and head honcho, Alex Kuruvilla with his wife Namita Kuruvilla (in a stylish pumpkin orange satin top) and daughter Tara Kuruvilla. Looks like everyone takes the note on the invite to dress to impress pretty serious like.
