So like I said Rajeev Samant had a little soiree at The Tasting Room at Good Earth to celebrate 10 years of Sula Wines on Thursday night. (I’m a big fan of their Rose Zinfandel by the way, yummy!) Apart from Mumbai’s swish set Paul Folmsbee, Shirin Batliwala, A.D. Singh, Ash Chandler, Nisha Jamval, Atul Kasbekar, Simone & Fahad Samar, Rashmi Uday Singh, Sunila Duggal, Cecilia Oldne, Farzana Contractor, Tina Parikh, Shunali and Shravan Shroff, Riyaaz Amlani, Rajit Kapur, Koel Purie (with a new do, I much preferred her pixie look though…), Shonali Nagrani, Narayani Shastri, Karsh Kale, Ashish Raheja, Aakanksha Nanda, Monica Vaziralli, Sabina and Anil Chopra, Devieka and Suresh Bhojwani, Seema and Jaideep Mehrotra, Aanchal Kumar and Anushka Manchanda, its kinda cool thing that I ran into MTV World head Nusrat Durrani courtesy ex MTV India head Alex Kuruvilla (who now heads up Condenast) since I’ve guest blogged for them, small world eh? 🙂

Rohan Sippy was rocking a funky pink shirt (he revealed he has a lot of female friends who often shop for him when I commented that he’s always wearing something exotic.) I saw a happy shiny Rahul Da Cunha (who I call Rocky for some reason I now forget) beaming about his 200th show of the hit play Class of ’84. Shenaz Treasurywala was standing around looking pretty but pulled a “missmalini.com? Oh how about in 10 minutes” when I asked her for a video byte for my blog (that’s code for I’m not going to do it and hopefully in 10 minutes or so you’ll forget too! #fail for that one, I asked so nicely too and she didn’t look that busy!) Also singer Sagrika (who’s married to Martin D’Costa) is back in town and doing the glitterati circuit with a big smile on her face. I overheard her crack up (and repeat) what Kishen Mulchandani described as the Page 3 process to perfection, “come in, drink, get clicked and f*ck off.” Amazing, Kishin amazing. New respect.
