Hey kids, just a quick note to say, no I haven’t forgotten to post my blogs on Lakme Fashion Week, I just honestly haven’t had the time! Seven days of back to back shows (yes and parties too) it just wasn’t humanly possible! BUT the good news is ALL the pictures are up on my Facebook Page – missmaliniblog and the videos are uploading as I type, on my YouTube channel – missmalinivideos. (I also have a little peak at the new collection at French Connection and more makeover videos from the Lakme Studio. See? I was busy shooting up a storm all week (so much so that I maxed out the batteries on my Flip, Digicam AND Blackberry in one night!) Anyhoo, watch this space, coming soon another fun “mixed tape” contest to win CDs from my personal stash and passes to the world’s first nightlife exchange courtesy Smirnoff! Woohoo 🙂
Psst! This is my favorite picture from this week because a) my friend Sheetal is due in October and technically the little lady she has on the way has already been to her first fashion week and b) I wore my other Shantanu & Nikhil dress for the first time and the Lakme Studio totally dolled me up a notch (a video on how to replicate the look coming soon.) I must admit, I loved every second of it (and all the double takes from the boys too teehee!)
