Oh dear. It’s almost that time when I will be involuntarily drawn to watching mindless reality television every night thanks to the return of Bigg Boss 4 (admittedly out of morbid fascination). But can I just say that I am mildly irritated with the number of has-been/wannabe celebs on the roster, especially so with the ones hoping to find their big break in Bollywood at the expense of my sanity?! I know I know, “turn off your TV then!” you say, but really how can I be expected to resist when now they’ve maybe thrown Pamela Anderson (no way!), Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle, Sangeeta Bijlani, (Salman Khan’s ex!), former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin, Ashmit Patel (who already tweeted “a week to go for BB, hope your mobile is ready to vote”, Zeenat Aman, Simone Singh, Bhagyashree, Shiney Ahuja, controversial Pakistani actress Veena Mallik, Sneha Ullal, Shakti Kapoor, India’s richest bar dancer Tarannum, comedian Sudesh Menon, singer Shaan, Chunky Pandey, Shweta Tiwari, Lisa Ray, and Rajesh Khanna into the mix? So here’s what I’m thinking, lets play a little reality roulette and come Saturday, October 2nd, 9p-10m ISD (on Colors) watch the show and cast your vote in the comments on this blog with who YOU think the biggest loser in the house is (for whatever reason) and if they get voted off first you win goodies courtesy missmalini.com!
So um.. is it just me or has the creepy quotient shot up a notch with this seasons selection? Shiney, Shakti, Chunky and Rajesh Khanna (who I’m told is quite the dirty old man!) Eeks.
