Forget the cool suits and shiny shoes, wait till you see the va va voom LBD Deepika Padukone wore to the BlackBerry Torch launch party at The Grand Hyatt, Mumbai (even prompting Mandira Bedi to call her “The Curve!” which I thought was cute!) waaay hotter than her ho-hum outfit earlier in the day. Meanwhile Mandy Bedi also looked pixie-fit (as usual) in her red gown and shiny eyes. Mallaika Arora Khan I’ll temporarily forgive for those disturbing electric blue balloon harem pants worn for her “Munni Badnaam Hui” medley since I guess that falls under creative license for costumes and besides, she usually looks pretty smoking; but can somebody please tell Neeraj Shridhar to stop dressing like a carpet-bag factory? I am a huge Bombay Vikings fan (everything from “Woh Chali” to “Kya Surat Hai”) but he’s losing point rapidly on presentation. More pix here.
Psst! Did you know that Arbaaz Khan fancies himself a bit of a singer? Which is why it took 0.2 seconds of convincing for him to hit the stage and belt out “Tere Mast Mast Do Nain” from Debangg. Funniest part was watching the real Blackberry boys storm the stage and show us their moves lol. Fun night. Cool phone. I want one (in Pink!)
