Aamby Valley India Bridal Week 2010 is about to kick off tomorrow and they had their first round of fittings today (more pix here) at the Sahara Star with Neeta Lulla, Rocky S., Manish Arora (I was pretty impressed with his art deco 2010 vibe at Lakme Fashion Week I wonder how edgy he’ll go with bridal wear.), Ashima & Leena and Anjali & Arjun Kapoor Ah Mumbai, whatever will be next? (I was trying to think of something funny like Ladak Lingerie Week but then just pictured all those poor freezing size zero models shivering their stilettos off and changed my mind.) Oh well, how about an existential question instead? Why aren’t they hosting Amby Valley India Bridal Week IN Amby Valley hmmm? (Yes yes I know, its probably too far to go three times a day for seven days but I had to ask.) The good news is that I now have an assistant and she will be able to cover some of the stuff I can’t make when I’m double parked which means (as Chris Brown once sang for a Wrigley Doublemint commercial) double your pleasure double your fun for you my fantastic blog followers!
