After a Swarovski filled week, here is what stood out amongst the rest. At No. 1 we have Archana Kochhar with an elegant Tan and Emerald Green Salwar Kameez; that had all the ‘front rowers’ gasp in appreciation.
Following at the No. 2 spot is Riyaz Gangji with this classic white Sari. The work on it is delicate and has a richness to it, team it up with a pop colour blouse for a younger look, or wear with a jewel tone blouse for a more mature look.
At No. 3 Manish Arora gives us a romantic beach dress. The texture on the dress add a flair of mischief needed for any honeymoon.
Sounia Gohil at No. 4 surprises with an unconventional grey ensemble fit for any atypical bride who wants to break out from the norms yet keep it stylish.
Making any bride feel like a princess has to be designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil at No. 5. Their peach and silver lehenga is fresh and playful apt for any bride to be.
Rounding up Aamby Valley India Bridal Week, There were a lot of highlights. Farah Khan was by far the best dressed celebrity, with her sleek off-shoulder pink dress and gold accessories. The best surprise of the week was the ever so elegant Sridevi and her two daughters looking just as chic as their mom. There were certain trends that emerged this season. Almost all garments had an open back whether a sari blouse or a salwar kameez. The back is the new erogenous zone, and why shouldn’t it be, it’s always the most flattering part of the body. So go out there and try on a style that suits you best.
Till the next fashion extravaganza.. Keep it Chic!
