Mia Cucina lovers will now be pleased to hear that the ‘neighborhood’ restaurant has now opened in a new location, looking to bring that big Italian family feeling to bustling Versova. Chef and owner Sanjay Kotian made this big leap to Versova when he realized just how far people came to eat at his Bandra location. The launch was a close knit affair with patriots and friends of the Mia Cucina clan all talking over great food and wine.
Spotted: Leena & Nikhil Mogre, Lina Ashar, Vikram Raizada, Shradha Nigam, Mayank Anand, Kishore DF, Kanta Motwane, Rakesh Bedi and Vinod Pande. The best entree of the night had to be the authentic sun-dried tomato pizza with melt-in-your mouth cheese. The new location is bigger yet keeping that classic Italian style and food. Chef Sanjay was nice enough to take a little time off from the event to give us a look at what’s new with the Versova branch. Take a look!
