Switch off all your lights and electrical  appliances at home, work, schools, colleges – wherever you  are for 1 hour on December 11th between 7:30pm and 8:30pm.

Kids at The Akanksha Foundation are helping turn their communities green. They  have planned various activities to engage and educate. Everyone is  welcome to join in.

Batti Bandh Cyclathon with Cyclists.in
Time: 6.45pm onwards from Juhu Beach to Marine Drive (anyone can join in  and from any point). Cyclists.in,  Batti Bandh and over a 100 cyclists  will pedal from Juhu to Marine  Drive emphasizing the importance of  saving fuel, health, energy, and the  earth – besides assisting in  solving the traffic menace.

At Cuffe Parade: Wall Painting in Candle Light
At Mankhurd: Wall  Painting with eco-friendly messages + Green Walk: Silent March  accompanied by dhols
Batti Bandh at Candies: Live acoustic gigs and candle lit hour.
Paint It Green: (Canvas Painting) all day at VJTI College
Acoustic Performances: To  make the one hour of no light, super fun musicians, singers,  bands, dancers, drummers, comedians, jugglers, unicyclists, flautists plan to  come perform on the streets.
