Here are some tips based on three typical Indian body types – busty, curvy and pear-shaped. Since we women have to look good no matter what we do, added are three looks for each body type – a day look, a night time look and a work look. Try out some of these tricks and see the change in your overall silhouette!

Busty – If you’ve got it flaunt it! V necks are perfect for this body type as it give them space to breathe. Never wear buttoned down shirts, unless they are fitted to your size, or else it’ll gape at the bust. Wrap and over lapped necklines are also suitable. Balance out your bust with straight legged jeans or skirts that have slight volume.

Balance out wide hips by drawing attention to your shoulders. Jackets with power shoulders are perfect to widen your upper body and give you an hour glass shape. Empire waist dresses and tunics that skim over hips are great on this body type. High waist, wide leg pants are a must have for this shape, it immediately lengthens and hides away large hips.

Accentuate those curves by highlighting your narrow waist. Belts or high waist garments are prefect for this body type. Play with volume but keep the waist the focal point of your look. open up the silhouette by wearing wide V/scoops necks. Think back to the old Hollywood actresses for a great hour glass figure!
