One World is a social networking evening that takes place the 1st Wednesday of every month at Shiro. It was launched in Mumbai in December following the tremendous response in Bangalore. One World basically serves as a common ground for people around the world to come together to help network, meet new people and socialize (aka an Expats night!) Shiro plays host by offering classic cocktails and array of complementary appetizers plus pumping tunes. They also invite an NGO to showcase a local charity project to give guests an opportunity to get involved. Invitations are sent out before hand, and participants can register at the door. The next one’s happening on January 5th 2011, See you there global desis?
*Update: Change in date of the One World Expat Evening at Shiro Mumbai. In light of the Sushi Samba evenings, they will be holding One World on the first Thursday of every month from February 3rd onwards. This Wednesday will be Sushi Samba, and One World is canceled.
