I had no idea that the Indian salon industry clocks in at an impressive 1,500 crore rupees (while the hair color industry is touching 650 crore rupee mark) On average people spend 1,000 – 1500rs per visit to a salon. Which is why a red carpet affair known as the Schwarzkopf Professional and Estetica India Couture Awards 2010, held at JW Marriott, Mumbai is totally understandable!
