I’m sure all of us have, at some point or another, fantasized about walking down a runway in the best fashions with the whole world’s eyes on us. Well, it’s not as glamorous as it looks. I know these girls go through torture in the green rooms, wearing sari’s and lehengas that usually weigh more than them! Talk about crazy hair and make up, models are treated as canvases or hangers, meant to just showcase the designer’s creations. It’s often a thankless job with a whole lot of waiting; waiting for the show to start, waiting for make up to get done. These girls sure need a lot of patience! We caught up with Gail Machado, the Head booker of Elite Model Management to talk about what it takes to be a model. Depending on what type of model you want to be you have to meet the criteria.
