Hey all animal lovers, here is a great organization who really takes it upon themselves to help our furry little friends. They take in and look after all unwanted, stray, ill or disabled pets/animals and give them a happy life. Animals Matter to Me make sure that all unwanted dogs are given more than just the basic necessities, like food and health care. Additionally, they also try to find shelter for the pet – a home with a proper family. Every Saturday you can take part in feeding the animals and petting them, there can never be too many hands for that. Just head on over to the Ida Center to help out
Responsible Petting organized by Birla Education is a Pet show where you get to know more about your pets and how to care for them. You’ll also get to see a Fashion show, dog owner look alike, Fashionable cat show, which seems like a lot of fun. Plus there will be pets looking for homes, so if you feel you’re missing something, you might just find that special pet for you.

• Come to the Eastern Express Highway and continue in the direction of Ghatkopar,
• At junction of Jeejabai Bhosle Marg (The road we take to go to Vashi) and Eastern Express Highway take left turn if coming from Thane side or take right turn if coming from Dadar side, towards Vashi,
• On the second signal take a right turn and then immediate left at 100m.
• Immediately on your left you’ll see the burial Ground of Muslim, Christian joined with Hindu crematorium
• Go 100m straight ahead and you’ll see IDA Shelter on your right (Blue gate)
