AZA always put up great collections, especially for spring summer, this time around there was no exception. Neeta Lulla presented her spring summer collection, which was fresh and trés chic. The colours were soft and light, a combination of candy pastels like mint green, baby boy blue and of course the great whites. I like that Neeta focused on keeping this collection simple and elegant, nothing was overly embellished or over the top. She kept in mind the modern woman who wants to look effortless fashionable, especially in the summer months. The collection was a mix of Indian and cocktail dresses, which makes for a winning combination. Lets face it, we love to wear our Indian but also cling to our western garments, Neeta gives us the options of indulging in both. I particularly loved the white cocktail dresses, my favorite being an off shoulder white dress with bust detail and soft white drape (check the video), something I’d love to wear to a beach wedding or to a soiree some where exotic.

I caught up with Nishka Lulla and got her take on how to be the fun loving young girl in the city. She gave us her tips on you just have to have in your closet. Plus gives us advice on summer make up. Dr Alka Nishar is one of the sweetest store owners I’ve come across and she always makes you feel at ease. I commented on how lucky she was to have a great store filled with amazing designer garments, to which she humbly replied, “Yes it’s a great perk, at home I have a walk in wardrobe but still not enough place for all the amazing clothes!” Ah if only I had those sorts of wardrobe problems to deal with, unfortunately I have too much space! *Hint hint designers if you’re reading this!*
