He was that cute VJ from Channel [V] who made his debut in Hindi films with London Dreams and grabbed a meatier role in Action Replayy as Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai’s son. At the ongoing Lakmé Fashion Week, we spotted him playing showstopper to designer Debarun Mukherjee.
Debarun has put together a collection titled ‘Opulent and Chaste’ inspired by the oh-so-filmi and mythical love story of Opulent and Chaste. The collection is a tribute to all those who believe in eternal love. The fabric used is cotton kora in its natural crème tone with appliqué of gold and the motif is mainly floral. The silhouettes are Indian with an emphasis on long kurtas. The other pieces include long draw-string pants, sarees, A-line lehengas, stitched dhotis, sleeveless jackets and side box pleated trousers.
