Who: Madhuri Dixit

What: Madame Nene quoted Rs 5 crore to sign a film! (That’s what Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra ask for currently.)
When/Where: To four filmmakers who approached her according to TOI.
Why: Her manager Rikku Rakesh Nath confirms saying, “Yes,   Madhuri has asked for five crores. We feel she is definitely worth the   price she is quoting. She is a superstar with an enviable fan  following  even today. So, why shouldn’t she ask for what she deserves?”
What Else: Apparently Rajinikanth wanted to work with Madhuri in his upcoming movie Rana. But, Madhuri has turned down the offer. In the movie, Rajinikanth will have to do a triple role and quite obviously, three beautiful female leads will be seen opposite him. One of the leading ladies is Bollywood hottie Deepika  Padukone but Madhuri declined saying she is keen to return to the United States to see her  kids and was only visiting India to judge a reality dance  show. Rana directed by K. S. Ravikumar is likely to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
