LOOMIT, Swedish Erik, Matthew Jonson, Kris Correya, Dorian Concept, Bernard Purdie, Jalebee Cartel, Taufiq Qureshi, Dhruv Ghanekar & Sheldon Turn Up the Bass for Redbull!

March 16th, German graffiti artist LOOMIT and Swedish Erik came in to “graffitise” the venue. International artists conducted workshops with 30 odd artists chosen countrywide, ranging from vocalists to instrumentalists to songwriters, bedroom MCs to music mixers, DJs and producers.

March 17th, Mathew Jonson, techno mixer, producer and DJ from Canada livened it up with his skills. Kris Correya of the Bay Beat Collective joined Mathew for a gig at night.

March 18th saw Dorian Concept, piano player, keyboardist and DJ from Austria along with Bernard Purdie, the world’s most recorded drummer! At night Dorian jammed with Jalebee Cartel spreading the magic of electronic, trance and sticky funk.

March 19th Bernard Purdie and Taufiq Qureshi had a jam – a melange of beats with the tabla and the drums coming together accompanied by the eclectic melody of the guitar strums of Dhruv Ghanekar & Sheldon with a whole range of percussion instruments thrown in. Now that’s the sort of gig that gives you wings 🙂
