The Rajasthan Royals may have lost the match to Chennai last night but its owners, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty have another reason to cheer. The buzz is that the couple that tied the knot in 2009 is expecting a baby. While Raj already has a 6-year-old daughter Deleena from his first marriage to Kavita, it will be Shilpa’s first baby. If the reports about her pregnancy in the media are to be believed the actress has been making the rounds of several clinics in the city. The svelte actress, who swears by Power yoga to maintain her curves, will definitely be looking at staying as fit (with the baby bump) as she can in these next nine months!
Speaking to the media back in 2009, Shilpa had spoken about how there was no greater joy than motherhood and that she wanted two children. She had also discussed how Raj’s house already had a lovely nursery (for his nephew) where she could see her kids playing in the future (wow, talk about knowing what you want). Even though Raj and Shipla are announcing it officially yet, a lot of close friends and family are celebrating the good news. We sure wish Shilpa’s happy family dream comes true real soon. xoxo
