You may not be a fan of the hit musical show Glee, but you can’t deny how spectacular their cover versions are. From Don’t Stop Believing to Poker Face they’ve re-popularized songs across genres and decades. When I heard Glee would be covering internet sensation, Rebecca Black’s single Friday, I was skeptical on how it would sound. Why 13-year old Black has 140 million views of her song on YouTube to begin with is bothersome enough. But, Glee has managed to turn Friday into a catchy, foot-tapping dance number that’ll get stuck in your head immediately! I still don’t love the song. but they’ve done a great job in revamping it. The Justin Bieber lookalike Chord Overstreet (Sam), Mark Salling (Puck) and Kevin McHale (Artie) have taken center-stage performing the song at their Prom.
