With the mercury rising this summer, Quiksilver India has set out to give Mumbai a dose of Skateboarding, the new cool sport that promises to grip the imagination of Gen next in India. Quiksilver, the outdoor sport fashion brand synonymous with the culture of skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding across the world, hosted a Skate-a-thon at Carter Road, Bandra, to announce the arrival of the brand in India. The carter road amphitheater was abuzz with activity as the crew from Quiksilver gave tutorials and strutted their stuff, with music in the background as the Bandstand culture revival’s Bandra leg corresponded on the same evening. The crowded amphitheater saw The Colour Compound and The Pulp Society play.
