Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine with Aishwarya Rai was officially announced at the Cannes Film Festival this year. And after Madhur spent the longest time searching for his leading lady (Kareena Kapoor walked out), he’s in for a longer quest to find the perfect hero for his heroine. This time around, Madhur is in search of a young actor to play the second male lead in the movie along with Arjun Rampal.
Heroine is about this ambitious actress who’d do anything to make it big (We really hope it isn’t a biopic based on the life of a certain green eyed beauty) Along her way she has a fling with a hot newbie in Bollywood and then uses him to get to the top (or is it the other way round?)
Anyway, we’ll have to wait to find out. Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were being considered for the project but Madhur seems totally smitten by Prateik Babbar’s acting in Dhobi Ghat, which makes him a strong contender as well.
Aishwarya hasn’t really done any movies with younger actors for the longest time. So, it will be refreshing to see a fresh face romance Ash in her all new avatar. We aren’t sure yet about which of these hotties will make the cut but we can’t wait to find out. Who will have the most rocking chemistry with Ash? What do you MissMalini readers think?
