I was very lucky on my visit to Baltimore to get a chance to experience Johns Hopkins’ Class of 2011 convocation of 600 odd people. Having spent a week prior to the date mingling with some of the public health students, it was obvious they were all waiting for their big day and their degree. Might I just add that health professionals can not only be uber fun, but also extremely fashion conscious! Some of the girls were contemplating a few days before what they wanted to wear on that day. The general consensus was short dresses, as it was very hot and dresses can be hidden underneath the robe. The boys as usual were considering not wearing anything underneath the robes, something I must report did not happen! As always I’m equipped with my camera, ever ready to take pictures of those who stood out in the crowd. I managed to catch some of them after the ceremony, getting ready for a night of partying (boy can they party!) Take a look at what real graduates wear on their big day.
