It sure is graduation season, and its raining fashion shows here! After Iitc and Nift, next in line to have their finale graduation show was
Mod’art India, a subsidiary of Mod’art international Paris, which conducted a fashion show for their graduating class. The third year graduating students and ongoing first year and second year students showcased a collection each.
Nishant Joshi, (CMD, Mod’art India) and Patrice De Place (President, Mod’art International) hosted the Graduating Fashion Show.
The models that walked the ramp included Candice Pinto, Ellen Modi and Arshina Trivedi (Reigning Gladrags 2010).
Guests seen enjoying the garments were Mansi and Rohit Roy, Babita Malkani, James Ferriera, The French Consul General, Nihar Pandya, Kiran Bawa amongst others.
The graduating students showcasing the collection were Janish Castellino – Collection based on Illuminati, Aastha Jain and Ayushi Vaghela. The 2nd year collection was inspired by The Caravans and 1st year student’s collection was based on Resort wear. We quite loved the my fair lady meets fifties housewife collection.. all bows and pearls and lace juxtaposed onto wearable shapes.
