Cher and Grace Jones started this whole stage drama with their costumes and loud personalities, but they made sure to showcase their talent. I recently saw a brief concert of the Black Eyed Peas and realised that stage costumes now-a-days are becoming ridiculous. I”m sure this whole trend is fueled by Gaga’s wardrobe, but at least she is always in character, giving the outfits some credibility. Whatever happened to showcasing your voice? What do we have here? A multi-coloured mess, I don’t care if Swarovski wasted 800 crystals on it. Please put some clothes on girl!! Is it me or does she look a bit off her head?

Nicki Minaj – Half Naked/Half Foolish

I don’t even need to comment do I? I know she is wearing a full body suit but the fact that it’s so out there makes it hard to take her seriously especially as an music artist. On the positive, she does have a cute derrière!

M.I.A – Pregnant Polka Dots

Alright I don’t hate this so much, actually think it’s quirky cute, but still a bit shocking considering she looks like she just about ready to give birth!

Fergie – You Are Not a Robot

Can someone please explain to Fergie she’s much to talented a singer to dress up as a Robot. Or maybe she trying to drop hints so that she’ll get a role in the next Transformers movie!
