And here we go, with a second installment (here’s the first) of the hot & happening people at MissMalini’s Cointreauversial Party, held at Blue Frog on Sunday night.
Mike Melli – MissMalini’s manager and the backbone at our website – took particular care to fit in with the 1920’s theme and went all-out with an Al Capone look. In fact, it must be mentioned that he actually grew out his mustache especially for this party.
However, while Mike played it safe and dapper, Amitabh Nanda caused quite a stir with his t-shirt (above) that spoofed a popular cartoon character. I’m sure many guests were left as blurry-eyed as he looks in this picture above.
Actor Ashwin Mushran enjoyed dancing on the stage with his friends as did Swati Shah of Besos boutique.
Stylist/designer Marv D’Souza made a funky statement by pinning a bow-tie by Urvashe to his jacket and them embellishing it with some pearls and disco bracelets. We Like!
Musician Stuart (from the band, Something Relevant) kept his look simple and classy. The beret nicely set-off his white shirt and suspenders while Vishwesh – wearing a black hat, glasses and a neatly trimmed beard – reminded us a bit of a Rabbi on an off day. What do you think?
And finally, here are two “model” girls who upped the style quotient by keeping it simple and chic…
Surelee Joseph (boyfriend Sujal Shah was in Delhi) wore just a smidgen of make-up on her face, making her look fresh and luminous. Thankfully she didn’t pile on the pancake the way some models are want to do.
The other fresh-faced poppet who added a sizable dash of panache to the party was our cherubic Nisha Harale Bedi, who also came without her other-half, Adam Bedi. He was in Pune on work, apparently.
Nisha worked it will with a simple t-shirt and short denim skirt, showing off her long, toned legs to perfection. Unfortunately, this lass had to leave the party way too fast as she too was off to Pune early the next day to join Adam.
