This month, in an exclusive cover shoot, OK! INDIA celebrates the fairytale life with a Bollywood princess who lives the dream of millions: Sonam Kapoor. From Wonderland to Rapunzel’s lonely tower, Sonam journeys through our favourite tales, dressed in dreamy gowns and chic coats inspired by the characters she essays for this feature.
We love the graphic black and yellow Sabashe by Sabah Khan dress that Sonam sports with a sleek vintage handbag and button Accessorize earrings paired with leather laced up Zara oxfords. The styling for the current issue cover is impeccable as well, with some fantastic photography by Creative Lensman Jatin Kampani.
“I’m a big romantic. I believe in all fairytales,” says Sonam. “I love pretty things and I love dressing up, but I know how to keep it real,” she added, while posing for photographer Jatin Kampani, for this fantasy-inspired shoot with OK.
On the cover of this very special issue of OK! INDIA, Sonam is seen as The Mad Hatter, while she also plays the Hatter’s storybook companion Alice within the feature. Other characters include Red Riding Hood, Snow White, the princess from The Princess and the Pea and Rapunzel — played to perfection by the beautiful actress, exclusively for OK!

Set in an urban jungle, mystical castles have been replaced by mansions in Malabar Hill, Prince Charming by the standard billionaire and ‘happily ever after’ by the ‘amazing now’. Today’s fairytales feature Bollywood royalty and Wonderland is the A-list world of shining stars like Sonam Kapoor,” said OK! INDIA Editor Sonali Kamat, as the magazine’s June 2011 cover was unveiled.
