Expat Unplugged: Five Things Fridays

Andrea

This Friday I am putting my sick day to good use with a little online window-shopping as I soak up all the Vitamin D this sunny day in Bombay has to offer. While trying my best to impress with my sweatpants, tangled hair and sexy manly voice, I found these little wonders.  I am hoping that if I stare at them long enough I will go into a trance and buy them all guilt free. A girl can dream, right?

A Spoonful of Shopping Makes the Medicine Go Down

1.Ecote Crepe Dress from Urban Outfitters – Such a versatile frock! Pair this with:
Wedges and a wide belt for a great brunch look
Nude pumps and gold bangles for an evening out
A simple ivory cardigan and ballet flats for work

2. Silk Ikat Pencil Skirt by Banana Republic – I love the blue watercolor patter of this midwaist pencil skirt. What I love more is it’s on sale. How can you resist adding this gem to your shopping basket when it is less than half its original price?

3. Ivory Women’s Glitters by TOMS – This pair of sparkly slip-ons are too cute! The best thing about these shoes is that for every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. (My sister happens to have the same pair in gold, but we live on different continents so is it’s not like I am being a copycat or anything. Hehe.)

4. “Splash” Rain Boots from Kors by Michael Kors – I must be dreaming! Wellies with wedges?! Love.

5. Crocheted Woven Dress by Forever 21 – A girl can never have too many dresses, so looks like I may need to schedule a trip to Delhi just to do a bit of shopping. Forever 21, please open in Mumbai!
