Did I tell you how psyched I am that two new hot spots opened back to back in Khar? Basically once you take the left off Citywalk on Linking Road you’ll see Cafe Mangii and right next to it Ivy Grande (by Sanjay Mirani and Sunil Thanwani.) This is great because now I can take a break from my sofa office and work/shmooze/treat myself to a glass of vino over lunch with WiFi to boot! (Plus I love that the outdoor section has just enough rain cover to be cozy and keep all my electronics dry! The opening party was an interesting mix of people and I even spotted blast from the past Anu Agarwal in the ranks (I really adored her in King Uncle back in the day!) Of course Rahul Bose was there as a truly friendly favor in aid of his buddy;s new spot. He was sweet enough to give me a video byte and spent some time chatting with me and my peeps about random things very non-nonchalantly. Sweet. Sadly he had to rush off to catch a flight as we continued to drink the vino.
