The Fourth Annual Boroplus Gold Awards were announced at Filmcity in Goregaon this week. Vikas Kalantri of Whiteleaf Entertainment conceptualized the event. A plethora of stars from the television industry walked the red carpet. There were performances by television most loved actors.
I spoke to several actors on the red carpet about their expectations from the evening. It was a lot of fun just speaking to these guys about who they were rooting for as they were all really sweet and totally loved speaking to the media (my kind of celebrity!)
Ragini Khanna came with her mom Kamini Khanna (Govinda’s sister) and they both looked adorable. Ragini’s discussed her nomination in three categories and how she was really excited about Jay Bhanushali’s act as this was his first performance ever without her.
Ragini’s mum told me that she was delighted about all the awards her daughter won this year which embarrassed Ragini a little bit. She even asked her mom to be more modest on camera ( the two are totally cute! ) Deepshikha, Mink Brar and Misti Mukherjee came together (BFFS! )
I had an awesome time as I interacted with a lot of talented professionals from the world of cinema and television. I even managed to catch a glimpse of Kamaal Khan (Of Big Boss Fame) who thinks he’s bigger than SRK ( Yikes!)
The stars were really looking forward to performances by Sanjeeda, Jay Bhanushali and Akshita Dhawan.
