Princess Diana

In honour of what would’ve been Princess Diana’s 50th birthday on July 1st, Newsweek magazine photo-shopped an image of her alongside daughter-in-law Princess Kate for their cover. In the magazine, journalist Tina Brown speculates what Princess Di’s life would’ve been like if she were alive. Brown includes predictions that Di would’ve kept up her beauty with Botox shots and would be telling her story to her 10 million Twitter fans.

Justin Timberlake seems to have taken his role as Sean Parker in The Social Network seriously with his latest investment in the struggling site MySpace. Timberlake is now part owner of the site and has plans to change the creative direction of the company. Singer, actor and now a businessman, what more can this man do?!

Michael Jackson

In an interview with OK! Magazine, singer Aaron Carter (the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter) claimed Michael Jackson gave him cocaine and offered him wine when he was a young teen. The 24 year-old says, “I never talked about it… This is the first time. I do… I miss Michael… I have spent such incredible times with him. I did things with him that nobody else did… But I was also troubled about what he did to me… Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15…He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff… We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone. I admired Michael, but his behavior bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police…” Carter has now backtracked his statement saying he was misquoted by the magazine. I’m not sure how they could’ve confused being offered cocaine and wine by the king of pop with something else. Looks like Carter has a lot of explaining to do. In other MJ news, a philanthropist won the iconic “Thriller” jacket at an auction for a sum of $1.8 million.
