Rahul Khanna, “This is my very first experience as an artist, where I got to exhibit my talent beyond the commercial boundary at a photo shoot. And indeed, one of the best I’ve had so far as an actor. This shoot has brought out a completely different side of me.”

Oh how yummy! Rahul Khanna goes artistic for GQ India’s July 2011 issue. Canvas paintings, antique furniture, colourful paint cans and a stunning Brazilian model playing muse to an artist. This isn’t a scene from a painter’s studio but has been specially created for an art inspired photo shoot. (Kinda reminds you of baby bro Akshaye Khanna’s character in Dil Chahta Hai doesn’t it?)

When asked which Indian beauty would he like to paint, Rahul says, “Indian women are traditional and very complex creatures and that’s what makes them sexy.” And the best part of the shoot for him was, “Painting a Brazilian model’s bare back in red was a different artistic experience. And besides, to
add to my amusement, her legs were longer than my body,” adds Rahul with a twinkle in his eye.
