The press-con to announce the seventh edition of the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour at Tote in Mumbai was almost like a glitzy and dazzling Bollywood award ceremony. Stars, stars and more stars were shining brightly in all their glory, looking ravishing and resplendent in outfits designed by their favourite couturiers.

The line-up of designers for this edition of the BPFT include Anand Kabra, Asmita Marwa, Gavin Miguel, Mandira Wirk, Neeta Lulla, Rakesh Agarwal, Ramona Narang, Rina Dhaka, Rocky S, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, Ryenu Tandon, Vikram Phadnis and Wendell Rodricks – all of whom showcased a sneak peek of the collections they will show on the tour.

Each of the designers had a “muse” model their outfit. These muses were Amisha Patel (Neeta Lulla), Malaika Arora Khan (Mandira Wirk) , Perizaad Zorabian (Vikram Phadnis), Raveena Tandon (Ramona Narang Rodella), Lisa Haydon (Gavin Miguel), Giselle Monteiro (Rina Dhaka), Sophie Choudhary (Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna), Shriya Saran (Asmita Marwah), Jackie Bhavnani (Rocky S), Preeti Desai (Raakesh Agarvwal), Zarine Khan (Reynu Tandon), Neha Dhupia (Anand Kabra) and reigning Miss India Kanishta Dhankar (Wendell Rodricks).

Even though all the Bollywood babes looked super-hot, we particularly liked Neha Dhupia in her vintage retro look.

Giselle Monteiro was all giggly and girlish and we loved her simplicity and joie-de-vivre. With a lovely attitude like hers, the lady will surely go big in B-Town.

Perizad Zorabian was also charm personified. Dressed in an elaborate wedding ensemble by Vikram Phadnis, she looked like a Persian Princess dropped out of the pages of the Arabian Nights.

And considering her seniority, Raveena Tandon (wearing a yellow sheath gown by Ramona Rodella) could have put any bimbette half her age to shame. Her luminous skin and shapely body made quite an attractive picture.

We also loved Raakesh Agarvwal’s red-carpet gown (in red) worn by Preeti Desai. Let’s hope one of our divas will wear it to an international award ceremony soon.
