Prakash Jha has devised a whole new strategy to promote his film Aarakhshan which is about reservation in colleges. He has asked his lead actors, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Prateik Babbar and Manoj Bajpai to turn teachers for a day. Come, August 2, the film’s actors and technicians will teach their favorite subjects at the Welingkar College in Mumbai!
Deepika will be the dance professor while our rockstar Saif along with Shankar Mahadevan will lecture the students about playing live. Prateik will be teaching the students graffiti art. This one’s gotta be our favorite lesson! Prakash Jha is super excited about this unique and absolutely cool (as he called it) concept that his creative team has developed.
I even saw an ad in the papers the other day which said that Amitabh Bachchan would be the guest principal of the college for a day. But that plan didn’t work out for Prakash Jha and his team. So, they decided they should have the rest of the cast play professors. There’s even a contest to select the super special students that get to attend these classes. So, for once students will hit the classes (thanks to super hot professors) and not the canteen. When lessons go from drab to this awesome, who wouldn’t love college? Psst..
