I love Raageshwari. Growing up, I always thought she was uber cute! So, the idea of meeting her in person for the launch of Namita Jain’s books, The Four Week Countdown Diet and Figure It Out made me jump with joy.

Namita Jain

Namita’s book has been my sole source of inspiration for getting back in shape after my baby was born. I have a copy of her book in the kitchen for my cook to use when whipping up recipes. So, when MissMalini asked me to cover a book launch with my two of my favorite people, I was totally elated.

The event at Landmark Bookstore in Palladium was a relaunch and a celebration of the success of Namita’s two books published by Penguin India. Namita spoke to me about how a healthy diet with moderation as the key element can give us oodles of confidence and energy. She even discussed her own battle against the bulge. Psst! She looks so perfect now, I would have never guessed she’s ever had any weight issues. My little chat with Raageshwari was utterly delightful.

She’s a complete angel, a diva who is so full of life. She told me about her fight against facial paralysis and how her wavering optimism had been restored by Namita’s healthy lifestyle plan. Raageshwari even discussed her love for Tibetan Yoga (watch out for her DVD soon) and her Sufi music album with a message of world peace which she will launch exclusively on MissMalini (Yay!)

Namita’s books are a reflection of impeccable research and empathy for all her wellness class students as well as readers. She’s like a friend who guides you through the daunting task of weight loss.

I particularly think that the book for teenagers is a great idea considering the teen cycle of unhealthy habits and tremendous peer pressure that may compel them to try drastic measures to lose weight.

So, for everyone out there who needs a sustainable and realistic diet plan to work with, Namita’s books have all the answers.
