Sheila Ki Jawani
Sheila Ki Jawani

A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place,  perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief  time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment.

Ok this is pretty neat! My friend Heena Jain sent it to me so if you happen to be in NYC next Saturday try this on for size! Dhoonya is hosting a Bollywood Flash Mob. Watch these videos to learn the routine and then go be part of the action LIVE at Washington Square Park on Saturday, July 30th! (They’re also doing classes btw – hit em up on Facebook: Dhoonyadance.)

P.S. Even if you’re not in NYC might be fun to learn the moves for your next Big Fat Indian Sangeet right?! xoxo
