2012 will see two very different remakes of the cherished fairytale Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. The first looks from both films were unveiled at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con International convention, check it out!
Snow White And The Huntsman
From the pictures this version looks much darker than the cute Disney version we all grew up with. At Comic-Con producer JoeRoth mentioned the film will be “tough, rough and active” and his Snow White will not be sweet and innocent. This remake is definitely going to be a completely different story than the one we grew up so it’ll be interesting to see what they do with it.
The Brothers Grimm: Snow White
The first look of Lily Collins as Snow White is much more reminiscent of the fair, sweet character. Collins is the daughter of singer Phil Collins and was previously seen as Sandra Bullock’s daughter in The Blind Side. Directed by Tarsem Singh, this version stars Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Armie Hamer as the Prince.
