Setting the tone for a fun-filled fashion extravaganza for the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2011, Lakmé and IMG Reliance hosted a party to celebrate all their glorious years of fashion and beauty. Mumbai’s fashion fraternity and friends of Lakmé Fashion Week braved the rains to come and celebrate the success of country’s premiere fashion and trade event.
Fashionsitas and the crème de la crème of Mumbai’s elite came to support Anil Chopra, CEO – Lakmé Lever and Anjana Sharma, Director- Fashion, IMG Reliance and were seen enjoying the evening.
Among the early arrivals were fashion designers Narendra Kumar Ahmed, Masaba Gupta, Aki Narula, Rahul Mishra, Neeta Lulla with daughter Nishka Lulla, Pria Kataaria Puri, Lina Tipnis, Babita Malkani, Archana Kochar, Swapnil Shinde, Troy Costa, Drashta Sarvaiya, Sharmila and Shaan Khanna, Mayank and Shraddha Nigam along with Models Pia Trivedi, Vipasha Agrawal, Freddy Daruwala and ex-Miss India Pavarthy Omnakuttam.
Also spotted at the soiree were Alex Kuruvilla, Feroze Gujral, Madhoo, Lubna Adams, Sangeeta Singh Kathiawad of Melange, Pradeep Hirani of Kimaya, Restaurateur AD Singh, Devika and Suresh Bhojwani, Kailash and Arti Surendranath and musician Leslie of Colonial Cousins.
The party was held at the chic pan-Asian eatery Busaba and had all the elements of the perfect evening with endless flowing cocktails and delicious cuisine. All in all, it was a night to remember!
