Karisma Kapur’s gearing up for her big Bollywood comeback. She’s all set to woo audiences with Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishq in 3D. Rumor has it that she’s also doing an item song in Sajid Khan‘s Housefull 2. Wow, the item girl phenomenon is really becoming a rage with our B-town babes!
Now, we know that this super hot mommy will totally sizzle in her scintillating dance cameo. But, what we’re really excited about is the buzz that Karisma has been approached to recreate the magic of Hema Malini in the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Satte Pe Satta.
This movie’s being directed by Soham Shah (he directed Kaal for Karan Johar). The remake will have Sanjay Dutt (who’s also producing it) playing the Big B’s character.
Hema Malini’s character (she plays an adorable nurse) in the remake of this hilarious comedy about seven brothers was earlier offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan but both of them dropped out (whoops!)
There were also rumors of Madhuri Dixit being approached for the role by the director, Soham but it looks like that didn’t work out either.
The question now is, Can Karisma pull of such a classic character essayed by the legendary Hema Malini? For now, we’re just glad she’s back!
