While most of the shows on Day 1 relied on celebrity show-stoppers to grab eye-balls, the C. Krishniah Chetty Jewelers (C.K.C) show relied only upon the elaborate sets and fab clothes to make a statement and enhance their luxurious jewelry.

The show was directed and choreographed by Achla Sachdev, who pulled out all stops to ensure it was done on a grand scale. From ensuring the entire length of the catwalk was specially done-up like a red-carpet with the logo of the jewelry house, to having a red chandelier hanging above the ramp, to having antiques on stage (a gramophone, a clock and antique style chairs) to reflect the look of the jewelry, Achla made sure everything was perfect.

She even had models pose on the ramp like princesses as they admired themselves in antique hand-held mirrors. The clothes by designer Ken Ferns dazzled and even fashion critic Meher Castellino agreed they were the best clothes to be featured on the ramp on Sunday.
